Yes, Let's Hear It For George W. Bush
Elections this past week have been terrifically successful. Iraq is slowly coming around,
perhaps one day to be a leading, democratic country in the heart of the mid-east. Let's hear a round of applause for a
brave and courageous American President, George W. Bush.

Inspired, Inspiring
The new President has reached out to the Muslim world, wonderful. "Americans are
not your enemy," he states, and this is so. I sent to the new first family the complete American Flag Portfolio of 7 patriotic posters that celebrate the trials of our history while pointing into the future, and was honored to do so.
Not partisan, but American. I hope he gets them. I signed them!

Work to Do
In the spirit of the new administration, the week ahead will mean forging ahead in every
way we can. The underlying idea is that the work of the creative class (as is coming to be known)-- artists, designers, creative professionals... can make significant contributions now, in particular.

Day of Public Service, Valentines and Thank Yous
In anticipation of tomorrow's inauguration of Barack Obama, I found myself taking photos of students, children and adults making hand-made Valentine's for our troops, and writing
