Daylight Savings Time....Yes!
March brings a major sense of optimism if only in the change of the clocks--coming
up, imminently. Light, sun, warmth, auguring in new growth and possibility.
The Fall River Mill Owner's Association (FRMOA) kicked off the new year with a special morning presentation dedicated
to the mission of the organization-- to position the mills of Fall River as hubs of new business enterprise, growth and prosperity
in the City of Fall River over the course of the years just ahead, a very exciting undertaking. A slate of half a dozen key
thinkers, policy makers, civic, business leaders, historians, writers and mill owners are scheduled to make presentations
aimed at pushing the City down the highway of new prosperity. See our new website, only a beginning. At present it is being upgraded, bear with us. This site will serve as the primary communications channel
with the local community, City Government, Gateway Cities of Massachusetts, and State Government representatives, among others.
Fall River, City of Art,
Culture and Tourism
Over the past year, we have been
wrapped up a significant body of work for the City of Fall River, MA. The new campaign announcing the resurgence of Fall River as a cultural force in New England is completed, for now. Above is a snapshot recording the shooting of the many activities that take place in
the City of Fall River. In the summer of 2009, we created four videos about the rich variety of art and culture that
exists here to help position the City for growth and new prosperity as we pass through this chapter into one more characteristic
of American can-do. Videos are made possible by the State of Massachusetts Department of Tourism, and the City of Fall River. They can be seen
on YouTube and CurrentTV, and will be posted to other social media sites over the next year. Credit to Paul Martin, Video Maestro.

R E E, The Launch of the Fall River Energy Enterprise
We
are pleased to have participated in the conception and development of F R E E, the Fall River Energy Enterprise, a new model for American self-reliance, ingenuity and energy-independence in the 21st century founded on the notion of locally
produced, renewable, alternative energy in the context of an environmentally sustainable, long-term development program. In
its capacity to create jobs and foster technological innovation, this is an important undertaking we believe will have positive short and long-term ramifications for Fall River and the region, more broadly. Key aspects of the initiative include:
• Locally Produced, Renewable
Energy
• Architectural Rehab and Adaptive Reuse
• City-Waterfront
Reconnect & Development
• Green Enterprise Zone
Identity design, marketing communications
and comprehensive branding of the F R E E Initiative is commencing at this very time.
